This semester has flown by. We have been the busiest that
we’ve ever been. We have stepped up our language learning at a more intense
pace this semester. We really sought Father for His provision for how He
desires us to learn the language. Our pryers have been answered. Chris was
blessed with a tutor for the first 2 months of the semester and is now enrolled
in speaking classes and Becky has been working with a tutor in our home.
Teaching has been going great. We get a few laughs at the
English names the students choose for themselves and we love getting to know
their personalities.
We have continued to have one of our regular groups of
students over to our home for dinner most weeks. Our group of boys have asked
us to teach them how to pr.
We celebrated “Mid-Autumn Festival/Moon Festival” this month
by eating moon cake, playing games with friends, and lighting the sky with floating paper lanterns.
We are happy to announce that we have found an acceptable haircut place! We experienced our first normal haircut this month! Always grateful for the small things.
